Knowledge management is defined, as well as its strategic processes: identification, acquisition, development, distribution, use, retention and measurement. Its relation to the organizational learning is also dealt with. An adequate knowledge management, supported by an organizational learning, contributes to the enhancement and development of the intellectual capital of an organization
