Abstract

This paper proposes the use of informational strategies as a tool to facilitate information transfer processes aimed at promoting health by means of the exercise of the individuals. Since these strategies do not formally exist in the theoretical picture of Information Science, it was necessary to do a conceptual and interdisciplinary research to provide the grounds to justify their existence and action. The analysis served to detect the strategies existing in the speech of the video images constructed on the basis of certain health information. A typology of strategies was created based on their ways of acting and on concepts of the Communication areas, Linguistics, Cognition, Sociology, Anthropology and Education. It was concluded that the strategies are useful, not only for the health information transfer, but also for the information production and retrieval through the registry on databases of its reading, interest and audience levels on Marc Format
