An informetric study of the references made in the Revista Cubana de Angiología y Cirugía Vascular , published by the Ministry of Public Health between 2000 and 2004, was made aimed at knowing its bibliographical behavior. The distribution of the citations was determined according to the type of documents, their present situation, number per article, thematic distribution, languages, and the most mentioned authors and sources, among other aspects.
