With the objective to facilitate the selection of a tool for the creation of digital collections in an average health institution in Cuba, a series of software developed with this end is characterized, such as: Greenstone, DSpace, Fedora and CONTENTdm. Greenstone seems to be the choice of excellence to create digital collections in a health average institution in Cuba.
