With the objective of evaluating the results of the introduction of the integral control panel as tool for the management of a medium size information institution, an analysis was made of such results from different perspectives. The results found at the level of a provincial information center are a sign of a rapid improvement in the behavior of the basic indicators employed for its evaluation; it also constituted a revitalizing element of other organization components such as the system of integral management of human resources, the system of knowledge management, the system of management by projects, the system of innovation management, and the system of management of the quality.
