Resumen

NUNEZ-PAULA, Israel A. Human or person management in the construction of knowledge societies. ACIMED [online]. 2007, vol.16, n.3. ISSN 1024-9435.

The role of sciences and information professionals in the organization of the knowledge society is defined.  The main inconsistencies between the theory and the current praxis oriented toward that purpose are explained. The theoretical-methodological metamodel of human management is presented as an integrator of approaches that have been defined as dialectical, complex, holistic or ecological and systemic: the philosophical ones (Marx, Von Bertalanffy, Wiener, Heidenberg, Morín), the psychological ones (Leontiev, Galperin, Petrovsky, Lewin, González Rey, Salovey-Mayer, Goleman), as well as the mainly managerial (Senge, Schein, Nonaka, Wikström, Edvinson-Malone, Bueno, North).  Emphasis is made on the satisfaction and integral growth of the human, bio-psycho-social being who joins organizations to seek, simultaneously, the fulfillment of his needs and aspirations, and to contribute to the human, organizational, territorial and social development, as an organizing and ethical principle.  AMIGA is the term that identifies the theoretical-methodological system of processes that the author has proposed - mentioned here - to gestate, gradually, the transit of an organization toward the managerial approach of the human management.  The methodological structure of AMIGA permits, by means of an adequate selection of the work variables, to apply the model with different purposes, from the improvement of information management -or of some of its basic components - surveillance and communication with the environment, documentary management, individual or group services, etc. - to the knowledge management or the organizational learning, and the formation of a learning organization.
