As a result of the study of the content of a journal called Gaceta Médica de la Habana that circulated from November 1878 to July 1881, it is presented a reference work about what happened in this publication that is devoted mainly to health and information professionals. The bibliographic citations all the materials published in this journal, which treasures important papers related to the history of diverse health situations that have acquired new validity today, are provided. Following this chronological description, the names of the authors are arranged in alphabetical order, with links to their respective articles through numerical codes identifying them. Then, all the topics dealt with in the journal appear in alphabetical order and with links to the citations. This inventory is intended to highlight and generalize the echoes of the Gaceta Médica de la Habana on the occasion of its 130^th anniversary.
