Abstract

Some theoretical aspects related to intranet portals like information systems, the importance of information and knowledge management at the university as well as others related to the framework and information management in the development of intranet portals are briefly exposed. Some of the main difficulties present in these portal types interfering with an adequate information management at the university are also exposed. Certain bases for the information framework architecture in the development of intranet portals aiming to achieve a better result in the information management at the university are proposed.
