This work is aimed at analyzing the trajectory of the formulation and implementation of the national information policy, as well as the do's and don'ts of this process and the factors that conditioned it, using as a basis the opinions of outstanding information specialists. This study also takes into consideration the elements which, from the point of view of those interviewed, could favorably influence on the rebirth of this policy, which is so necessary in the current conditions of the country.
