A case of a 44 years old-female patient with a history of diabetes mellitus and cholecystectomy during five years is presented. There are less than 300 published cases of this entity in the literature. Our case is the first one diagnosed in our hospital in the last twenty years. This discussed case is of caudal location and was treated using caudal pancreatectomy and splenectomy. It demonstrates the little value of clinical manifestations in the diagnosis of these tumours and the usefulness of an ultrasonography, a CAT and the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) techniques in the detection of these tumours.
