This work deals with educative potentialities of the work practice, problems in the formation of valius and principles for guiging the educative task, with the aim of giving more information about this topic to the traching - staff. For the elaboration of this material, an analipis of different authors' criteria was carried out, related mainly with moral qualities which work education contributes to develop in the students, such as: love for work, humanism collectivison, and conscions discipline. It also considers some problems that university youngs have, and the influrence of work activitis in their solution. Main principles for performing educative practice are also.
