A patient with a malign histiocytoma in the maxillary sinus is studied; and also an aspergiltosis of the same sinus. Characteristice causal factors, diagnostic means and treatments used in these entities were stressed. It is shown that Caldwll-Luc's operation is important in the treatment of chronic sinusitis and at the same time it gives the histopathological diagnosis in these uncommon disease in our setting .
