The objective of the study was evaluate the effectiveness of body acupuncture in the treatment of alveolitis and to determine side effects during treatment. It was a clinical trial, Early Phase II from january to july 1996, in the Provincial Teaching Dental Clinic of Camagüey. Thirty patiets of both sexes with a diagnosis of alveolitis and informed consent participared in the study. Pregnant women, diabetic, fatigued and alcoholic patients.
