A diabetic adult population, randomized was statistically analyzed. Clinical manifestations of diabetes were found in 27% of them. Women prevailed with 69%. The most striking risk factor was the poor education about diabetes with a 71%, according to a test. The hypertension rate was 61%. The majority of them had hypoglycemic treatment orally and the presence of peripheral arteriopathy was shown clinically in 48 % of our series.
