Abstract

Enterohemorragic E. Coli (ECHEC) is the enteropathogenic variety of this bacterial specie which is studied since 1980. Differentto other categories, its higher incidence has been determined in the first world countries, which, among others, it has provoked outburst of aqueous diarrhea, hemorragic cholitis, hemolytic, uremic syndrome (HUS) and tromboctic, thrombocytopenic purpura (PTP). The tryggering of these pictures is associated whit its capacity for producing a toxin type called called verotoxin (VT) and to hemolysin very particular wchich is called enterohemolysin revision gives a panoramic view about some peculiarities of this ethiology and its link with EHEC.
