The case of a femenine, 50 year old patient is presented. She had an increase of the cervical volume of six year evolution, associated to painful events. The clinical examination showed a tumor of the lepper third, left lateral region of the neck , of 30x 50 mm, hard, attached to deep planes, and painful to palapation. Aspiration cytology was carried out, informing negative fusocellular lesion of neoplasic cells. Exploratory cervicatory and resection of the lesion were performed. They histologic result corresponded with a desmoid tumor. Further evolution, was sucusssful. Clinical and surgical aspects of practical interest were carried out for the diagnosis and treatment of this infrequent tumor with cerical localization.
