Referenceis made to the problemas exist at the moment in modern therapy and that they could be solved with the development of the Clinical Pharmacy, especially through the disciplines Biopharmaceutic and Pharmacokinetics and inside these the paper of the drugs monitoring. It stands out the paper of the sciencelike phenomenon of the objetive reality and the laws that govern it, as well as the importance of the sanitary investigation.It is defined the drug monitoring, the benefits that it contributes the same one and the reason for which constitutes a social necessity. In turn some experiences are exposed in Cuba and especifically in Camagüey city In fact, we expose sorne conclutions making emphasis in the economic and social impact that this service would bring if it should practices daily in the services of pharmacy of hospitals in this counly.
