An experimental predictive and prospective study was carried out at hte neurophysiology Lab. Of Camagüey province from January 1997 to June 1998 with the aim of determining normal values of the F Wave Variables and the lower number of stimuli necessary for them in the median nerve. Comparisons right-left and proximal -distal were made Date were processed with the statistical package CSS-I . There was proximal -distal in the studied variables. It was shown that the minimal stimuli required for obtaining number of F waves was 45. When dismishing the test time and explaining the clinical interpretation of results, the cost of it decreased, this way avoiding the use of the other more expansive diagnostic studies.
