Abstract

CARDOSO NAVARRO, Ignacio  and  RAMOS DIAZ, Melania J. Clinical Evaluation of patients with prosthetic rehabilitation with hydroxyapatite for atrophic alveolar rigdes. AMC [online]. 2001, vol.5, n.5. ISSN 1025-0255.

A study of 11 patients surgically treated was performed. They were determined the increasing of inferior atrophic alveolar rigdes with Coralina Porous Hydroxiapatite HAP-200. Prosthetic apparatuses were installed at 8 weeks after operation and patients were clinically evaluated at 3,6 and 12 months after installing the prothesis, checking stability and retention of their prosthetic, apparatuses, also the level achieved. In the results, it was shown that in the great majority of patients stability and retention of these apparatuses were achieved and only 2 were unsatisfied Finally at 12 months after the elaboration of prosthesis. Implanted patients were suceisfully rehabilitated.
