A descriptive study about the behavior of patients for kidney transplant was carried out at Manuel Ascunce Domenech provincial hospital from 1999 to 2000. The universe study was composed of patients with an end stage chronic renal failure, who were waiting for kidney transplant from a cadaver donor. They belong to five dialysis units of our country. The samples of each patient were syudied toking a two months stage sensibilization perecentage, specificity (with and without the use of the reducing agent Dithiotreitol, through cross-tests) was estimated and it was correlated with the transfusions number. Non respondent prevailed. Groups were formed: maintenance, diminution, disappearance and increase of the sensibilization perecentage when applying Dithiotreitol. Patients with more than 20 transfusions presented high sensibilization percentage and greater sensibilization againts antigens B7, B12 and A2.
