A descriptive study in 150 family records of Odontology was performed; in which 478 patients were were surveyed within the goals of oral health of the OMSby the year 2000 for knowing their behavior in the center area of Camagüey, we found 80 % of 5 to 6 years aold populatation free of caries, so the gaol was above purposes for the millennium and of national mean 55 %. The CPOD index was 36, over the purpose, presenting a negative marker; 73 % of 18 years old adolescents presented all functional tecth in the mouth. So as to average of treth lost, either in population from 35 to 44 years or older than 65, was lower with favorable results. Parodontopathies, according to the survey, were not representative problems in the area.
