We proposed as objectives the evaluation of the interposition technique of the zygomatic arch in the recurrent luxattion of the temporomandibular joint.J in 30 patients intervened from january 1995 to january 2000. A formulary was manually processed Results show a technique effectiveness of 100 %, a higher incidence in the femenine sex and an oral opening oscilating from 38 to 40 mm.
