A biblographic review about bone regeneration, focused on biomaterials, barrier membranes for tissular regeneration guided and the application of growing factors for osteoinducction in the oral and maxillofacial regions, is presented. It is shown a wide range of clinical applications in the bone reconstruction, increase of the atrophic alveolar rigde endosseuous implants and periodontal diseasses.
