Abstract

FERNANDEZ PADRON, Angel; HERRERA OCEJO, Martha María  and  DYCE GORDON, Elisa. Hypodrotic Ectodermal dysplasia. Case report . AMC [online]. 2002, vol.6, suppl.2, pp.882-887. ISSN 1025-0255.

The case of a nine years old boy with the clinical diagnosis of hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia from he was nine months old, is introduced. The main clinical manifestations, consistent in scarcity of the hair, facial dysmorfism, dry skin, cry without tears, absence of sweating and fundamentally the history of recurrent fevers from the stage of newborn, that made perspire the doctors precisely because the boy could not do it. That was de principal motivation for presenting this case.
