Abstract

CAMACHO ALVAREZ, Nelson et al. Obstructed inguinal hernia and acute myocardial infarction. Case presentation. AMC [online]. 2002, vol.6, suppl.2, pp.895-900. ISSN 1025-0255.

A 56 years-old patient who presented acute abdomen with obstructed rigth inguinal hernia in the course of an acute myocardial infarction was presented. He was remitted from a Comandante Manuel Piti Fajardo municipal hospital of Florida to Manuel Ascunce Domenech provincial hospital of Camagüey in the surgery service with the clinical picture of acute abdomen associated to a myocardial infarction in evolution. It was necessary a urgent surgical intervention which was performed by chelotomy and hemioraffia, his postoperatory was 13 days in the intensive care unit, intermediate therapy and surgery ward with a satisfactory.
