Resumen

An observational descriptive study was carried out in two patients who assisted to the general surgery service at " Octavio de la Concepcion y del Pedraja" Milytary Hospital, in different dates, one in 1995 and the other in 1996, which were surgically intervened with the clinical, imaging and laparoscopic diagnosis of colon cancer. Tumoral resection was made, which included ileotectomy of aproximately 20 cm of the terminal third of thransverse colon; resected tisuee was sent to the Anatomy Pathological Departmentfor its histologic study, informing in both cases the presence of a informing tumor. On day 21 after the operation, a treatment scheme based on 5 flourouracilo and transference factor was applied. The dosis and frequence of drug administration were adjusted according to the weight and size of each patients. Survival was determined as to the postoperatory evolution time and both patients surpassed the five years of being operated; results obtained were the ones we hoped. Literature was reviewed.
