Abstract

The fever of the occidental Nile (FON) constitutes an arboviros is at present of great medical relevance, because the morbimortality that is provoking in the Several regions of the planet. In the last years in United States, have been a significant increases of cases confirmed o f FON , with a clear tendency to the promotion, which was documented. There are two fundamental elements in the disease's driving chain: migratory birds many of them which rest of or nidify at our territory in any stage of the year, and a wide range of mosquitos' sorts, some are of whom abundant and with enlarge geographic distribution. Due to the gravity of the problem, complicated for many factors that are favoring the FON's reemergency, and for her proximity of Cuba with the North American territory, conditions are able to expect the virus's arrival to the national territory. For it, the available information was resumen to establishing adequate spare strategies and antivectorial control, favoring an important participation intra and intersectorial and of way decisive of the community.
