The vascular neurosurgery has developed the last 70 years different therapeutic modalities to treat cerebrovascular disease The current incidence of them is increasing for years. Candidates for surgery also multiply. The objective of this study is to communicate the behavior of this subspeciality in Camagüey province. It requires for its development general, technological and pharmacological conditions in a free social and easy-access health system. The results offer scientific and social institutional benefits. Camagüey province reports a series of 646 patients assisted in the last 20 years and the introduction of seven new techniques of complex vascular neurosurgery. Our excellent health system which perfectly integrates the prevention, free and easy- access vascular neurosurgery and rehabilitation, will allow the improvement of health markers in our population in this type of disseases and will produce a significant social and scientific impact.
