Cerebrovascular diseases are important cause of death and its therapeutics involves all levels of health. Europe has developed in the last 10 years specialized stroke units which concentrate material and human resources to improve the quality of case to these patients. The objective of our research is to describe the possibilities and adventages for creating a stroke unit. This unit helps to reduce the time of initiating therapeutics. It standarizes therapeutic prottocols and diminishes the nocious effect of complications and lowers mortality, Vascular surgery of ischemic and hemorrhagic diseases may exert a more benefitial and early effect in these units. The stroke Unit is a centre for preparing specialized personal in which new preventive, therapeutic and medical surgical research methods are developed. These would promote a better care to patients with stroke, with the purpose of increasing life expectancy until 80 years old.
