A biblographical review and updating of the osteochondritis dissecans of the talus was carried out. The objective was to deepen in the new diagnostic and surgical techniques used in this pathology. From the diagnostic point of view, emphasis is made in the tomographic exam, nuclear magnetic resonance and artroscopy Surgical treatment may be arthroscopic or through artrotomy, and results of various authors according to the surgical techniques are given.
