Resumen

An analytic retrospective study of paired cases and controls about the behavior of some risk cancer at X Aniversary Camalote Rural Area Teaching Polyclinic was carried out. The research was perfurmed from Januery 1st, 1998 to December 2000. the study universe for taking the sample was represented by the total of patients to whom the organic cytology test was done at this time, according to the national program for the early diagnosis of cervix uteri cancer. The study group (cases).was composed of 55 patients registered with the diagnosis abnormal cytology test (cervix uteri).cancer, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) on HPV( human papiloma virus) infection; while the control group ( whit the same number of patients ) was randomly selected outof the total of women with negative organic cytology test in correspondence to the study group when processing the information gathered using microstat and epidat, it was observed that patients from 35 to 59 years old (52,72 %) were the most affected. It was shown significant statistic association among cervix uteri cancer and some risk factors such as multparity, promiscuity, HPV infection aand the early sexual relations, moreover it was proved that the most frequent, lesions were CIN-I and CIN -II.
