Abstract

This work deals with a family distributed in three generations affected by family hematuric nephropaty (Syndrome of Alport-Perkoff). In three of them, nephropaty and deafness are associated, they sufferred for chronic renal failure and were trasplanted. One of them died for primary brain lymphoma and the other two did not present renal function disorders; in six of them it was detected hypoacoustics, while one patient (the younger) of this family was free of symptoms. We observed that women presented disorders in more advanced stages of life. Hereditary; clinic and therapeutic characteristics are pointed out.
