A study with 14 patients who attended to the nephrology consultation at Manuel Ascunce Domenech Provincial Hospital, Camagüey, Cuba, was carried out, which were carriers of diffuse proliferative lupic nephritis from January, 2000 to June, 2002, with the aim of evaluating clinical effectiveness of Cyclophosphamide in bolus for the treatment of this disease, proving immunosupressor action of this drug and establishing the side-effects that may appear. For this, the main clinical characteristics of 14 patients, complementary tests of lab., as well as the morphologic calcification, change of pattern, activity and chronicity indexes at the moment  of diagnosis and in the results, were analyzed, 57, 1 % of patients presented side-effects, the most frequent nauseas and vomiting.
