An intervention study was carried out in a population from 5 to 18 years old in the health clinic 18 of the West area of Camagüey city, to evaluate modifications in the state of oral health by means of community care of Orthodontics during two years of tits application. The universe was composed of 96 patients, 84 out of them were surveyed, interconsulted and treated in primary care or remitted to the second level. It was obtained were the age group between 8 and 10 years (40, 48 %). Primary care was needed in 51, 67 % of cases. Eighteen children were treated in primary care in which neuromuscular dysfunction, crowded teeth, bone-tooth difference and myotherapy prevailed. Five orthodontic discharges of first level were achieved and severity of disorders of patients that are still under treatment. It was proved a favorable change in the health state of population since the beginning to the end of the study with significant difference.
