A case of bening tumor localized in pleura in a 73 years old patient is presented; it a very rare tumor mainly at this age. Clinical, epidemiologic and imaging aspects were stated, as well as prognosis of those unfrequent tumors, among them the bening mesothelioma, though is of higher frequency, presents difficult preoperatory diagnosis. It was stressed the tumor prevalence, different radiologic exams and treatment.
