^les^aLa sarna noruega es una forma particular de sarna, mucho más frecuente en pacientes inmunodeprimidos que en la población general. Se caracteriza por la gran cantidad de parásitos que albergan las lesiones, motivo por el cual es altamente contagiosa y difícil de tratar. Presentamos el caso de un paciente de 13 años de edad, con antecedentes de inmunodeficiencia celular, que ingresó en nuestros servicios con el diagnóstico de sarna noruega, respondió muy bien al tratamiento oral con Ivermectina, junto a la aplicación tópica de pomada de azufre al 5 %.Describimos las características clínicas de esta forma de sarna, discutimos el uso de la Ivermectina en su tratamiento y destacamos su utilidad.^len^aNorwegian itch, a variety of scabies that is much more common in immunocompromised patients than in the general population, is characterized by the huge amount of parasites that the lesions host, which makes it highly contagious and difficult to treat. This paper reports on a case of a 13 years patient with a history of cell immunodeficiency who, after being admitted into our service with a diagnosis of Norwegian scabies, responded very well to oral administration of ivermectin and to treatment with 5 % sulphur ointment 5. The clinical features of Norwegian itch are described and the treatment with ivermectin is discussed, along with its efficacy.
