Abstract

Ten observations of non tuberculous pulmonary mycobacteriosis are contributed in the period from October 2001 to October 2006 at the university hospitals of the city of Camagüey-Cuba. The classification, causes and characteristics of this pulmonary illness in foreseeable increment, are indicated; which requires special diagnostic methods in order to carrying out the classification in search of the specific microorganism for a correct therapeutics. The clinical characteristics of our sickpersons are indicated, in all the cases pre-existing lesions existed, which were causes of death, what coincided with the III Group. A brief review of the theme is done and our results are compared with the other investigators.
