A descriptive study at "Ismael Clark y Mascaró" Provincial Teaching Odontology Clinic, of Camagüey city, was carried out, from November 2002 to June 2005 with the objective to describe the dental occlusion in patients from 12 to 18 years-old, belonging to the doctor's office 39. The sample was constituted by the 38 first patients that gathered the inclusion criteria. The investigation was conceived in three phases, organizing phase, clinical inspection, and community invitation. It was obtained that the neutroclusion of molars predominated point out, the total canine function occupied the first position and more than the half of+ patients presented an individual optimum functional occlusion, it is recommended to take up again the functional exams of the occlusion in the clinical activity.
