ARREDONDO BRUCE, Alfredo et al. Stromal tumor of the epiploon: A case report . AMC [online]. 2008, vol.12, n.4. ISSN 1025-0255.

The case of a 43 years old man is presented who was attended in the internal medicine ward at "Amalia Simoni Argilagos" Educational Provincial Hospital of Camagüey province, in August 2007. Inside of the tumors of the digestive tube, the gastrointestinal stromal tumors are just the 2%, but inside of them its apparition in epiploon represents the 5% of the same, known as gastrointestinal stromal extra tumors. By its scarce incidence this interesting case is presented.
