Abstract

TOLEDO HERNANDEZ, José Manuel; ZALDIVAR GARIC, Miguel; AGUILA HERNANDEZ, Marisol  and  GOMEZ REYES, Arcadio. Medical quality: factors on which it is necessary to intervene. AMC [online]. 2009, vol.13, n.5. ISSN 1025-0255.

The present communication was performed in 2008 to show some factors that influence in the medical assistance and in the achievement of an excellence medicine. Errors that with more frequency are carried out in the medical practice were pointed out such as: the abandonment of the clinical method, the lack of medical knowledge, the practice of a defensive medicine and the autoprotectionist attitude of some doctors, the challenge that demands the complexity phenomenon and the uncertainty and the non implantation of the circle of quality among other factors. The correct way to eradicate these errors and the challenges that should face medical community in the XXl century is shown. We should have conscience of the impossibility of solving problems from a single disciplinary paradigm, for what it should be open to the cooperative work, to the investigation and synergy with others and we exhort for the measured use of all the advances achieved by the science and the technique.
