^les^aFundamento: muchos tipos  de células mesenquimales pueden diferenciarse en fibroblastos. Existe un grupo mal definido de hiperplasia de células fibroblásticas, denominada fibromatosis que varían desde la cicatriz queloidea postinflamatoria hasta fibrosis no neoplásica, abarcando también lesiones intermedias entre fibromas, fibrosarcoma que ha falta de un término más adecuado se denomina fibromatosis agresiva (tumores dermoides). Caso Clínico: se realizó la valoración de un paciente intervenido quirúrgicamente hace cinco años en el Hospital Pediátrico Provincial de  Camagüey de 11 meses  de edad,  femenina, raza mestiza con antecedentes de salud, por presentar enfermedad tumoral de hemimandíbula izquierda, se le diagnosticó por biopsia incisional una fibromatosis pseudosarcomatosa de la mandíbula por lo que se planifica en la conducta a seguir,  exéresis  quirúrgica  de la hemimandíbula izquierda con desarticulación. Conclusiones: la evolución clínica durante todo el tiempo transcurrido hasta el presente y sobrevida de cinco años, demostró que la conducta fue correcta y que se utilizaron todos los recursos necesarios. El tratamiento con quimioterapia y radioterapia fue durante el año de evolución.^len^aBackground: many types of mesenchymal cells may differ in fibroblasts. Clinical case: the valuation of a patient had surgically intervened for five years ago was carried out in the Provincial Pediatric Hospital of Camagüey of 11 months of age, female, mixed race, to present tumoral disease of the left hemimandibula, through incision biopsy a pseudosarcomatous fibromatosis of the jaw was diagnosed to her, the procedure to follow is planned, surgical exeresis of the left hemimandibula with disarticulation. Conclusions: the clinical evolution during the whole time lapsed until present and five years of survivorship, demonstrated an accurate procedure and all the necessary resources were used. The treatment with chemotherapy and radiotherapy was during the year of evolution.
