Abstract

Introduction: polyglandular syndromes are the association of two or more diseases of the endocrine system associate to other ailments of autoimmune cause. Generally, it is about glandular hypofunctions, except for thyroids, which may appear as much hypo as hyperfunction. Objective: to describe the anesthetic technique of urgency of type II polyglandular autoimmune syndrome. Clinical Case: a case is informed, on the anesthetic procedure of type II polyglandular autoimmune syndrome or Schmidt´s, in a patient announced for surgical treatment of urgency with acute cholecystitis diagnosis, at the University Hospital Manuel Ascunce Domenech.
