Background: during the first years of the XX century, Arthur T. Legg, Jacques Calvé and George Perthes described and published simultaneously the characteristics of coxa plana and how it differed from coxalgia. They pointed out specifically towards the particularities that appear in the nucleus of ossification of the head of femur. Objective: to characterize the obstetric-anesthetic method in a patient with sequelae of Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease. Clinical case: a twenty-two-year-old female patient with a medical history of Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease since she was five years old with a conservative treatment that she abandoned at the age of 12.
