Antimicrobial activity from 4 % fluid extract of Psidium guajava L., was studied, using a minimum lot of strains microorganism including Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis (gram-positive), Echerichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (gram-negative), and Candida albicans yeast, by method of agar-diffusion. Findings obtained suggest a low antibacterial reponse and absence of antifungal effect.
