Recent studies corroboring medicinal properties confered to Ocimun tenuiflorum L. gave raise to carrying out of experiments for cultivation and spreading of species. Farming researches performed in "Dr. Juan Tomás Roig" Experimental Station of Medicinal Plants, showed that amongst study distances, this species has a better behaviour by yielding obtained, and easiness of this plantation method and its care.
