Resumen

The phenologic studies of medicinal plants that are being developed by ?Dr. Juan T. Roig? Experimental Station of Medicinal Plants in 2 places of Cuba since 1980 are still conducted through the phenological evaluation of 3 species grouped in 11 genera of 10 families: Adenantrera pavonina L.; Catharanthus roseus (L.) G. Don; Caesalpina bahamensis Lam.; Caesalpina pulcherrima (L.) SW.; Heliotropium angiospermum Murray; Hibiscus syriacus L.; Jasminum sambac (L.) Ait.; Orthosipon aristatus (Blume) Miq.; Plumbago auriculata Lam.; Plumbago scandens L.; Rosmarinus officinalis L.; Senna alata (L.) Roxb. and Vetiveria zizanoides, by using the methodology established by Fuentes and Granda in 1984. A graphic and descriptive analysis of the results of the phenological evaluation is made: 7 species flower and fructify during the whole year; 3 flower but not fructify; and other 3 flower and fructify in certain periods of the year.
