Non-demonstrated effects of Bryophyllum pinnata (Siempreviva) have been reported at FITOMED, since the population refers to its potential curative effects on skin lesions, antiinflammatory action, etc., in spite of the fact that the Cuban species have not been studied yet. The main goal of this paper is to investigate the effect of the fluid extract obtained from the leaves of this plant on open wound healing in 8-week-old rats. It was proved that the fluid extract with 4,5 % of total solids favours the healing process. }
