The results of the studies carried out in the mobile solar dryer of metallic structure made with waste materials at "Dr. Juan Tomás Roig" Experimental Station of Medicinal Plants were evaluated in this paper. The species used in the experiment were: Plantago lanceolata L. (ribwort plantain), Plantago major L. (plantain), Calendula officinalis L. (calendula), Matricaria recutita L. (chamomile), and Ocimum basilicum L. (basil). The drug obtained in the equipment was not significantly different from the one dried in sieves placed parallel to the sun. It maintained in all cases its characteristic color and smell. The pharmacognostic indexes determined were within the permissible ranges established in the quality standards for its commercialization. It was also proved that the equipment is highly productive and income producing.
