A pharmacological study of anticoagulant effect of 3 % total solid - concentration of aqueous extract of Ricinus communis leaves was made. The study was performed in 1,5 -3 kg body weight New Zealand -line rabbits. Blood sample was taken directly from heart muscle, central vein of ear and carotid artery after administration of 2,0 mg/kg weight dose of extract injection into intravenous bolus through marginal ear vein. Protrombine time, Activated Thromboplastine partial time and Howell´time test were performed. The injection of extract into intravenous bolus increased studied coagulation times.
