The natural fungicides are low cost and their use reponds to the social, economic, cultural and political needs of the population. The traditional knowledge on medicinal plants is taken into account for their application. The biological fighting besides being efficient, economic and categorically sound, is an excellent control method. The studies were conducted with Calendula officinalis L., and Matricaria recutita L., species from the Asteraceae family. The first is affected mainly by Alternaria sp. and the second by Fusarium sp. For their control, it was evaluated the effect of different extracts obtained from Melia azederach L., Nicotiana tabacum L., and Lantana camara L., as well as the antagonic effect of Trichoderma viridis. Various experiments were made aimed at reducing the degrees of affectation of these plagues. The best results for the plant extracts were attained 24 hours after applying the product with dilutions between 5 and 20 %.The antagonic effect of Trichoderma viridis was observed from the 12 hours on and with concentrations higher than or equal to 5 %.
